Pinacl has worked with Convergence for a number of years to deliver hybrid solutions utilising leased lines, MPLS and Fibre. We partnered with Convergence to deliver solutions for Birmingham City University, South Yorkshire and West Midlands Housing Associations and Showcase Cinemas.
Ruckus Wireless, Inc. is a global supplier of advanced wireless systems for the mobile internet infrastructure market. Pinacl has been working with Ruckus for a number of years to deliver high performance internal and external Wireless solutions. Pinacl has deployed Ruckus technology across the City of York, into The British Library and across all of the United Biscuits UK factories.
Purple WiFi have developed guest WiFi hotspot software that enables data capture so that you can gain valuable customer insights. Cloud-based, it has a simple, social user login process and works globally with customers existing hardware and internet connection and complies with all public WiFi legislation. Pinacl partner with Purple to deliver their CityConnect WiFi solutions which to date include public WiFi across the City of York, public in building solutions for Aberdeen City Council, Newport City Council and Stockport Council.
The Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) is an American global information technology company that develops and provides a wide variety of hardware components as well as software and related services across government, health and education sectors. Pinacl has partnered with HP for over 5 years enabling us to deliver LAN solutions for the likes of City of York Council and the Walton Centre.
Mitel Networks is a high-tech company providing IP telephony and unified communications solutions for business. Pinacl has been a Mitel partner for over 10 years and has supported the deployment of unified communications solutions into The British Museum and throughout all of the City of York Council’s offices.
Concept Solutions People (CSP) is a provider of telecommunications infrastructure within the UK, specialising in fixed dark fibre links. Pinacl has partnered with CSP for a number of years delivering Dark Fibre solutions into the education and local government sectors for customers including Birmingham City University, Aberystwyth University and University of Leicester. CSP were also our chosen partner to install the Fibre network for Newport City Council.
CityFibre builds and operates ultrafast pure fibre networks that bring the huge benefits of Gigabit connectivity to communities throughout the country. Pinacl selected CityFibre as their partner for the installation of the Pinacl designed, City of York Council dark fibre network in 2009. We have continued to work with CityFibre to expand the fibre footprint across York enabling other customers, such as St Leonard’s Hospice and the University of York, to take advantage of the many benefits offered by telecom services delivered over dark fibre connections.

Pinacl has worked with Polycom for over 15 years to deliver video conferencing solutions. Customers that have benefitted from a Polycom solution include NWIS (North Wales Informatics Service) and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board along with a number of NHS clients.
Fortinet is a leading provider of fast and secure cyber security solutions offering enterprise- level next generation firewalls and a vast array of network security products. Pinacl have recently partnered with Fortinet to deliver network security and web content filtering for the Public WiFi solutions in Aberdeen and Newport.
MWL Systems offer IT support for all aspects of information and communications technology including hardware, networking, software, implementation and support. Pinacl partner with MWL to offer data servers and storage solutions for a number of our clients including North Wales Housing.
